Privacy policy

PriceGrizzly is owned and run by Grizzlify, which is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@grizzlify.com.

What we collect and why

• Price alerts. If you set one, we keep your email address, the product and your target price. We don't send alert emails yet. We use your email for that alert and nothing else, on the basis of your consent, which you withdraw by cancelling the alert.
• One cookie. pg_market remembers which country's prices you are looking at, for 90 days. The site needs it to show you the right prices, and it is not used for tracking or advertising.
• Clicks to shops. When you follow a link to a shop, we record which offer was clicked, when, and from which page of our site. This record does not include your IP address or anything else that identifies you.
• Server logs. Our server logs each request, including the IP address, the page, the page you came from and the browser type. We use them only to keep the site secure and working, which is our legitimate interest in running it.

What we don't do

We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, we don't build profiles, and we don't sell your data.

Who else is involved

• Hosting. Our servers are run by Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany, which processes the data above on our behalf. We don't move it outside the European Union.
• Product images. Pictures are loaded from the shops' own image servers, most of them Shopify's, so your browser contacts those servers directly, as it does for any image on any website.
• Shops and marketplaces. When you leave PriceGrizzly for a shop, eBay or Amazon, their own privacy policies apply. Links to Amazon are affiliate links, and Amazon may use cookies on its own site to record that a sale came from us. PriceGrizzly is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.

How long we keep it

Price alert details are kept until you cancel the alert, with the link on the page that confirms it, or ask us to delete them. Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing contact@grizzlify.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the European Union, the authority in your country.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
